Another Flat Tyre, And a Flat Stretch…
John left Mackay on the 2nd of April. He has continued to power on through the hilly sugarcane country that lies North of Mackay. Apparently he even scored a free breakfast!

John hoped to get to Sarina yesterday (not actually sure where he did get to last night).
But he did make it to Mackay around the middle of the day today and decided to rest up for the remainder of the day.
Mackay has apparently not had rain for many days, unlike Sydney or more [...]

John communicated that he realised there were crocodiles in the Fitzroy River and was relieved when he informed me that none were hungry that night(!).
Last night he stayed at Yaamba, which is about 60km North of Rockhampton. He is still 70km from Marlborough and 300km from Mackay. The distance is just melting away. He has [...]
